The Market Building Foundation Inc. is a public non-profit entity established to safeguard the historic and architectural integrity of the community by overseeing the restoration, management, and upkeep of the City Market Building. Representing an array of organizations dedicated to Downtown Roanoke’s growth, including retail, finance, the City of Roanoke, Downtown Roanoke, Inc., and the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce, Foundation members are committed to fostering the area’s development.
With responsibility for the oversight and governance of the renovated facility, as well as the management, leasing, and operational excellence of the City Market Building, the board members of the Market Building Foundation, Inc. bring forth innovative and creative strategies while ensuring the building remains at the heart of Downtown Roanoke’s vibrancy.
